Back Home For A While…..

We actually made our best time ever on the drive from Orlando and didn’t hit but one slowdown. Now of course I’m catching up on everything and entering the busy pre-holiday season. We’ll take our annual Thanksgiving trip to Georgia to see hubby’s family, but that should be it until February. The kids won’t be coming down for New Year’s Eve this year. Flying with an infant can be problematic during the holidays so we left the decision up to them as to what they wanted to do. If the weather is not too brutal, they might try a road trip to Maine to visit that side of the family. In general, hotel rooms are easier to get there when it’s not tourist season.

Anyway, this coming week is a series of different meetings and we continue to work on finalizing the manuscript for Mystery of the Last Olympian, Titanic’s Tragic Sister Britannic. (http://www.mysteryofthelastolympian.com) The release date will be between 12-15 February as we are trying to work out something that will be a surprise for everyone in the local area if we are able to do it.

I think I’ve finally gotten my office into some semblance of order with stacks of reference material more or less re-organized and a full bag of garbage of bit and pieces tossed yesterday along with another bag of paper to recycle. That’s not to say I don’t have more old files to work through, but I learned a long time ago you can only do so much of that at a time. You get to the point of not being able to focus properly and you can easily toss something you later realize you should have kept.
