I say probably because at this stage, I have to be careful of other unexpected issues cropping up. We have, however, engaged a different painter who promises to begin on Thursday and expects to be done on Saturday. That should keep us on track with the same degree of delay as before since the cabinet guys need to be able to get in here to finish and trying to juggle them with the painters would not be very efficient. Now, the question as to trimming out the baseboards, the doors and the electrical and plumbing are different matters. We will figure that out with the contractor, but I am genuinely hoping that can occur this coming week or the week of the 7th at the latest.

Appliances are to be delivered on Wed, although I don’t know what time yet and hubby may have to handle that. In fact, it’s probably better if he is in on that as it involves wires and so forth and we also find out if we’ve made any more (yes there has been one already) errors in measurements between appliances and cabinetry. That mistake actually looks like it will turn into a plus because it moves the microwave to a different location that should be better from an electrical perspective. I’m not as comfortable as I would like to be with the spaces left for the dishwasher, fridge, and stove, although I am not a visual person, so the fit might be exactly as we need. I guess we’ll find out for sure on Wednesday.
