Workshops for Your Room at the End

As I have previously mentioned, Your Room at the End: Thoughts About Aging We’d Rather Avoid, was a particularly challenging book to write because I prefer to approach non-fiction in as entertaining a style as possible. Although the topics in Your Room do not lend themselves to entertainment, the book is designed to help people begin to ask and answer some very important questions about planning for the senior years. With that goal in mind, I have developed a one-hour presentation as well as a 2- hour and a 3-4 hour workshop that provides a platform for people to build on their initial response to Your Room. The workshops are specifically designed to help people take active steps for planning instead of putting planning in the, “I need to get around to that someday,” category.
