Our rainy season\u00a0<\/strong>continues with the pattern of mostly afternoon thunderstorms from 10-30 minutes durations. I managed to not get caught again yesterday although that wasn’t the case on Friday. Partially my fault as when I exited the vehicle I thought about taking my umbrella. This is the same thing that happened a couple of weeks ago. This time it wasn’t quite as bad only because at least it had slacked some for my drive home. I did call Hubby to tell him to bring a towel to the entryway. This was, stand on the tile entry, take shoes off, towel off legs and hair, then carefully walk barefoot to the bathroom where I stripped off wet skirt and top. Underwear wasn’t too damp. Rubbed hair dry a bit more and fastened it up with a clamp. I suppose we have another 2-4 weeks to go. On the other hand, no hurricanes yet and I feel badly for anyone who might be threatened. I had already popped into the grocery store earlier in the day after I had lunch with a friend. Otherwise, that errand would have waited.<\/p>\n

The plants are all happy and yes, it does also mean we have grass and weeds among the things we like. And we don’t need to put water in the pool, so there are “up sides”.<\/p>\n

Hubby is teaching scuba today to finish a class for a couple and he wasn’t sure what conditions were going to be like in Key Largo. Since he hasn’t returned, I imagine the boat went out this morning which means the wind wouldn’t have been too bad. Diving in the rain is interesting because if you’re not very deep, you look up and see the rain hitting the surface. If it is cloudy, that does diminish the light, but in an environment like we have, it can also be pouring rain while the sun is shining.
